When a site is located near residences, a noise management program is developed, implemented and monitored. This program describes the methodology that will be used to carry out site activities in accordance with authorized sound levels and determines the mitigation measures that will be put in place, if necessary. In order to ensure that the authorized sound levels are not exceeded and that the mitigation measures are effective, acoustic monitoring is carried out during the work.
