Created in 1976 by Mr. Edwin Gaucher, geophysicist Ph.D. from Harvard University, GEOSIG provides a wide variety of services mostly in geophysics applied to mining exploration, oil and gas exploration, and civil engineering. Mr. Gaucher retired in 1995, but still provides exclusive services as a consultant for GEOSIG. The new president and major shareholder, Mr. Bernard Granger, has worked 20 years as a chief geologist and geophysicist for SOQUIP and PETRO-CANADA, including nine (9) full years in Morocco. The other company shareholders consist of former co-owners and employees of GEOSIG.
GEOSIG is composed of a full-time professional team, supported by other part-time experienced people including engineers, geologists, geophysicists, computer scientists and highly qualified technicians who, on the whole, confer on the company a solid experience. The full-time team includes :
